Hi, i had a slight mishap this morning a ended up with a damaged skid plate, well at least thats what i think its called, anyway, how important is this part and where can i get a replacement?

Found some on eBay, 'engine undertray'. Just got to check they're the same

Been told to make sure you always buy an original Audi undertray part....there are copy parts out there and they are sh@t!

The dealer does a steel one too but i dont know the part no,i bought a panzer plate from the U.S .but not a great fit on s lines and s4's due to lower bumper and thicker front arb.I'll try to get mine to fit better when the weather improves.I lost the undertray off my old a3 due to snow and ice hence trying aluminium one from diesel geeks,very heavy though.
