Flat bottom steering wheel

my mate has 2011 flat bottom steering wheel with all the same buttons as my 2006 s4 avant wheel.
will it fit mine and just plug and play.
they both have paddel shift.

If its the exact same button layout, then it may pnp, but may require a loom modification possibly using an older loom connector, so depends which version it is, show me a pic.

If its the semi new version, thats been fitted for only 1-2 years, it would need the loom modifying & one button wont work, but would give same functionality as your year mfsw would work, the latest version has even more buttons aswell which will not work full stop.

ill see if i can get a picture, if it is the same button layout and i have to start chopping wires ill leave it.
if i did go through with it what button wouldnt work.
