OE look aftermarket Led tail lights Avant

Hi guys
Quite like the idea of upgrading my standard tail lights on my silver Avant to some Led's. Really want to keep as close to OE look to the tail tights as possible.

Looked on the FK tuning site, just so many! need help getting close to the OE look

Anyone help please??
 
Try to stick to Red and black combination as that will look more OEM
 
I fitted some to my brothers car. I can't remember which ones they were but they looked pretty OEM. I think as long as they are not chrome/silver and don't have the outer black edge they look quite OEM. the lights are amazing and change the look of the car. im after a set myself. I think in feb or april time. also I had to swap the wires around on the fog lights as they were the wrong way round but apart from that they fitted perfectly.

Thanks for that. Are the FK Tuning ones fault free? just a straight swap with no wire cutting/swapping?
 
I brought mine from ebay for a saloon. I assume they are they same as the FK ones. they should of been a straight plug and play but the fog lights and the inner side lights did not work so I figured out that the wires were incorrect (wrong way round) so I cut the wires on the chassi loom and swapped them around. (no big deal) apart from they look great. im just saving up do fix up my own car at the moment as I had to fork out for a turbo and intercooler.

Cheers Darren, Anyone else got ant imput on the FK lights in general?? Some pictures/links to OEM looking ones would also be handy
 
Fk lights them selves are great. Except the Foglight issue just need to swap positive and negative over! No biggie just don't expect it from a new unit?

FK CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SHOCKING! Please try and contact to see if they have them in stock before you order!

Thanks whopper, great help. Does anyone know if the rear lights on the Avant are exactly the same size as the saloon? Or are they different ??
 
avant and saloon are diffrent

that is what I had to do with mine. I thought it was faulty and then I worked it out after. no big deal just cut it and re solder

Yeah exactly that Darren! I emailed them on the 18th December..... I'm still waiting for a reply?!

+1 on customer service,awful. Ordered lights and they were in stock, only for them to say 4 days later they were out of stock and not back in till end of jan. so ok was going to wait for them, only for fk to just cancel my order and issue me a refund.
Managed to get through to customer service eventually after searching for numbers and trying for ages, only for them to be so unhelpful.
Good products - crap customer service!!
 
Have FK recognised that there is a error in the wiring set up? Or is customer services so bad you don't get the chance to actually tell anyone !!!
 
Just wondered if anyone else other than FK supply after market led rear lights??

No, I bought some for my saloon a month ago and had to rewire them.
 
The wiring is not good, especially something costing over £200.

I just rewired them, didn't bother telling them about it.

NOZ, to be clear, if I get a set of LED rear lights from this supplier, is it right that, firstly they will plug in directly into the existing wiring connectors without modification, and secondly, they have resistors built-in so ensure no bulb warning errors?

correct my friend just plug in and switch on simples........:yes:
