Third Brake Light intermittent

Hello everyone,
I have a problem with the overhead light back of my b7 a4 cabrio. In DIS sometimes shows the message that the center rear brake light does not work, but after a tap or sometimes without any intervention, return to work. What can it be? have the same problem too?

Well 1st check connector on light for any corrosion, then check connector/wiring is ok, then if ok, I would remove & stick a meter on the connector & get someone to brake numerous times & see if you get a reading each time, if thats ok then either remove light & resolder the pcb joints then test or replace light, could also check for any fuse dedicated for that light & see if its got bad conductivity.
