Hi All
My fathers A4 B7 1.9 Diesel has just broken down and the pedal is loose (but does slowly spring back).
It is possibly the cylinder but just as likely the clutch given it has done 125,000
Parts seem to be about £130 for a sachs clutch (good brand for the A4?) or is valeo worth the extra £50 or so?
However given the mileage and the peddle judders at biting point, I guess a DMF (about £250/270) for sachs is advisable even if the DMF falls within tolerances for keeping it?
The car is currently with the garage and will be looked at this week, but any specific Audi related knowledge much appreciated.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Regards
Matt
