A4 Special Edition - back to standard headlights

Hi All,

Looks as if I have to change my HID's back standard bulbs due to EU policy, seems tricky to do as change was big job 3 years ago.

1. Will it fail MOT for sure if HID's stay in
2. Any ideas or quick win in changing back to standard, bulb and unit for standard bulb? Old unit was drilled to hold new HID bulb.

just leave them in
iv had no problems with the MOT
or try a search theres loads on here about it

Really depends on your friendly MOT guy, mine says as long as the light bend is within the legal parameters it's all good

It hasn't come into force yet, at the moment it is just an advise so when it comes into force your car will fail if it doesn't have headlamp washers or auto-levelling(either in the headlamps or in the suspension) with xenons.
