    Suspension which kit

I'm going to change shocks and springs, narrowed the choice to either bilstein /eibach kit or the h&r cup kit,i dont need coilovers as i dont want to go too low ,i want to have a slight lowering without the s line crashy ride, any body had experience with either.

i am in the same position as you mate, i want to lower the car but still have it practical. i also want to replace the shocks. i am currently looking at an AP kit: AP 40mm/30mm Lowering Springs & Shocks Suspension Kit A4 B7 Avant 1.9TDi, 2.0T FSi, 2.0TDi FWD 01/05> - £313.00 : The premier online mail order VAG suspension and performance specialists. imo dont bother wasting your money on others, seem to be getting as good reviews (for springs and shocks) and are a good bit cheaper. dont forget that s line models are 20mm lower all round than an SE model and SE is what is being quoted. so take 20mm off all quoted drops. i just havent decided whether to go for a 40/30 or 30/30 drop!
