Anyone know a reason why both fronts on a B7 quattro (2.0 TDi 170) would where evenly down on both outside edges (but not across the whole tyre) when the tracking has been checked and is well within "tolerances.

Can I expect the same to happen on the back and if so os there a solution

I've just had two Vred Ultrac Cento's on the front and will probably do the backs (currently Bridgestone Potenza's) when I need to. Reviews were all good for this tyre

Any assistance otr guidance gratefully received

Cheers

what tracking machine was it checked on
are you lowered ?

Do you drive it hard on corners, maybe with underinflated tyres. My mate has Ultrac's all round on his Quattro, he has had the same issue, Indy bloke said to put 38-40psi in with those tyres.

My pilot sport 3's have worn the same, seems like they have been under inflated.
