I tried running mine today with the MAF disconnected, not sure if it made any difference but this is the strange part.
Disconnected with engine running and ESP light came on. Car drove fine with no issues. Turned engine off and restarted and this time ESP and MIL light came on. Again drove fine. Turned engine off and plugged in diagnostic tool and only fault code related to ABS so ESP problem but no faults on engine section. Erased all code for ABS and ESP and MIL light now off. Any thoughts as seems strange.
