Question Correct car battery for 2006 2.0T FSI

Hi,

I need to replace my battery and I'm getting conflicting information (depending on the site I go to) which battery my car 2006 2.0T FSI uses. Some say 027, some say 096. Can anyone confirm which is correct?

Also any recommendatons? I'm thinking of Bosch S4.

Not sure which battery you need but as a rule of thumb I always fit the largest possible in terms of size, Ah rating and CCA rating, usually the one fitted to the diesel model as this gives you plenty of power in reserve. Manufacturers generally spec their batteries to the minimum required to do the job as this is normally the cheapest option.
