I recently bought an 07 A4 b7 and have noticed that sometimes when I start the car the aircon resets itself to the highest temperature and doesn't stay at the previous set temperature I had it at? Is this normal or is there something wrong?

Auto mode will do that when it detects low temps mate, I seem to recall my old S3 8L did this aswell, wasnt an issue., just turn ignitionon & see what mode it immediately sets itself to.
