    a4 quattro auto box

    Im off to look at a 2005 a4 avant quattro 3.0tdi, im a bit puzzled and worried with gearbox, ive heard quattro has tiptronic box( good ) not multironic ( not so good ), this car does not have paddles on steering wheel does this make it multitronic? Help please!!

    If it's a Quattro, it is not Multitronic. That's all you need to know.

    just got one on a 56 plate incredible car a bit thirsty against the 1.9 fwd but hold on fast

    I had 1.9tdi on a 52 plate, manual, really enjoyed it and never let me down, just fancied one in v6 quattro form, i will put up with mpg for the performance gain, nice to hear good reviews.

    3.0tdi Quattro with tiptronic is immense

    You got the flappy paddles on the s-line with the MFSW, possibly as an option, not as standard on all models I think. Most of the time you don't need them, the box is good enough on its own. Fun on occassion though...

    You won't be disappointed as everybody says. The auto is excellent and very responsive.

    With the Diesel prices increase these days you will notice also

    Good choice of TDI though.
