Iv got a sh inlet mani for a TDI
needs cleaning.
i know about the Mr Muscle but is it safe on a ally manifold ?
or anything else i could use to clean it up with
TIA.

Planning on doing mine this week when I change the vaccum actuator. Was going to use carb cleaner - usually available in pound shops.

I would use carb cleaner and a decent degreaser (elbow grease)

Yeap carb cleaner, although when I did my 8P I found some witch doctor remedy in Italy when had to change turbo, did the trick, cleaned out my cat of oil without any damage & the mani was back to the metal, with some grafting.

I used brush wash but carb cleaner did help clean it. It's a horrible job!!

A metal scroucer, a couple of towels, toothpick anything that I could get my hands on really all seemed to help
