Hello all I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction as I'm wanting to go to vw festival this weekend but it might be a no go unless I get ths problem resumed, the incident occurred yesterday morning whilst my other half was driving to her mothers a chattering sound from the engine occurred, when I opened the bonnet it sempt to be coming from the front belt region, with the engine idling funny and jumping if you like. I rev it an the problem disappears .
Since yesterday the problem is intermittent all is fine no noise tick overs fine then later on this evening the noise came back...?
