Ok people bit of advice needed following a traumatic evening. Finally got around to swapping the from bumper on my S-line cabriolet. The car had the SE type bumper fitted. So gone to the effort of buying new fog lights, fog lamp surrounds and plinth for the number plate. Bumper painted. All gone to plan as far as everything looking the part. Managed to get the front bumper removed pretty easily in about half an hour....straight forward. wiring harness swapped over and new bumper was ready to fit.

Do you think it would go on without a struggle. Its taken about two and half hours to get the new S-line bumper fitted. Its extremely tight on the corners and its taken a bit of effort with the bolts both sides to pull it into line, its not perfect now! Had both bumpers alongside, just can't see anything that would make the fit so tight...anyone experienced this before? Has anyone done the swap a found this to be the case?

Is there any foam etc on the inside of the bumper that would make the fit tighter??

No there isn't anything. Had both bumpers side by side. They look pretty much the same from the back. Nothing that sticks out that would suggest causing an obstrcution!

iv done the swap a few times never had a problem
