just been sorted
i left my mate to fit the new map sensor from TPS
iv removed it this morning and it was a aftermarket part.
got 1 from VW and it works.

the reply i got from the manager was
we didnt have any in stock so got 1 in for us
from andrew page in sheffield he says they dont like letting ppl down
but when i asked at andrew page as i know a couple of lads that work there they didnt sell any map sensors for audi/vw
