2007 A4 1.8T cabby timing belt change north east.

I've just read that my timing belt is due to be changed on my 1.8T cabby, rang wearside audi, who quoted £430, prestige german cars quoted £340 including the water pump, any recommendations for anywhere else in the north east worth a try before she goes to prestige german cars?

Volkswerk, Middlesbrough would get my vote, been using them for fifteen years with the odd visit in between to Audi Teesside.

I used Volkwerks for years til I realised they were ripping me off. There's a VAG specialist next door to volkwerks called Ron Turnbulls. I've been using him ever since I got a quote from volkwerks for some work and Ron Turnbulls quote was half of what volkwerks had quoted.

I'd definitely recommend Ron Turnbulls over Volkwerks anyday.

Thanks for the replies, in the end I booked into prestige german cars and only got charged £300, excellent service by them as well.
