I usually use my A4 2.0TFSI for commuting and I get about 30-31 mpg all the time. I've just done two long motorway runs and was pretty pleased with the economy:

232 miles, 38.12mpg
368 miles, 34.99mpg

I took mine from East Yorkshire up to the Lakes last weekend, and got a return of 38 to the gallon, which I was very pleased with as mine is a Quattro and I wasn't driving with economy in mind.
Brad.

Yes, I can see 35mpg (since remap) on my DTM on an 80 mile motorway run, if I drive just above or near the limit and don't meet traffic.

Had a round trip from Stockholm to Middle of Denmark this week and must say after owning a Rav4 petrol, I was very pleased with the economy of the car for such a fairly big beast....much better than the RAV4 and twice as quick! hahaha and it was very comfortable too!....only FWD though! :-(

Very pleased so far with the MPG of this car.

Cheers
A
