1st problem no power to boot lid

B7 dont happen all the time
when it happens i loose fogs number plate lights and boot open handle
checked inside the boot
where is the normal place the wires snap

The cables pass along the left side hinge, through some protective sleeving. There's an earth cable in there that simply splits....a common fault. Eventually it'll just snap. You need to strip the plastic outer off, then the sleeving before repairing the wire.

sorted it the other day
was in the boot behind the trim 3 broke wires god knows how they broke in there
