2007 TDI 170 Avant - Brake Caliper Pistons, Wind or Compress?

Thinking of doing the discs and pads.
Cant find the post but read somewhere you compress the fronts and wind the rears or vice versa is this correct?
Have a tool for compreesion but will need the adaptor for winding, clockwise or anti to wind it in?

    Cheers in advance.

The fronts are push back pistons, and shouldnt need any special tools, the rears are wound back in, turning clockwise best using a wind back tool.
