BRD Engine Number Location

Any takers on this, even with the engine out, I can't for the life of me see an engine number anywhere. Obviously a sicker on the cambelt cover but I would have thought that it would be stamped on the block.
I may find it when I take all the ancillaries off.

The engine number (âEngine codeâ and âSerial numberâ) -arrow- can be found at the front of the joint between engine and gearbox.

Ring dealer. If its the original engine if you pm me with reg I'll get you number according to vehicle details
Cheers guys - I just need to satisfy myself as I'm sure the engine is not the original and has been changed previously but the original engine cam belt cover swapped over.
