What are the buttons for on the rear view mirror?
I kept pressing it but it didn't seem to do anything.

I always assumed they were something to do with the anti-glare mirror.
Mine does nothing either but I also have full tints so wouldn't neccesarily expect it to do anything. I'm sure someone will be along to put us right soon.

Sounds like an auto dimming mirror to me. If so the button turns it on/off. The difference is that when it's on the headlights from cars behind you will look greenish, this is the auto dimming working.
Yeah auto dimming mirror, if you put your finger on the sensor in the front of the mirror thats facing the windscreen, then shine a torch into the small sensor hole next to the button on mirror, it should make the mirror darker, thus auto dimming.
