Thread: Unlock boot button on key fob

My unlock boot Hutton on my key fob for my a4 avant doesn't seem to do anything is this normal?

Are you holding it down? Holding it down for about 2 seconds should pop the boot.

Although most cars probably do this another key tip I discovered a few weeks after I got my A4 is put the key into the lock and turn and hold to wind all windows down. Turn the opposite way and hold to wind all windows back up.

Should also work with the remote if you hold unlock/lock it opens/closes the windows. Sometimes its not activated and needs to be configured using VCDS to do it.

I'll give mine a go when I get back to the car later. Could be quite handy getting all the windows open before reaching the car on a hot summers day lol
