Thread: Diagnostic services from Audi and Independent garage, are they doing same job?

I've just send my car to Audi to do a diagnostic check, they charge £150 for that. And ive been told other specialized independent garage would charge £30 to £50. The question is are they doing same job with same tool (i know its computer&software based) ?

The coffee isn't that great either.

Ive searched ebay, and find lots of tools for diagnostic, anyone can post me a link for a correct one plz?

tyvm, but the car is already with Audi, I've phoned them yesterday, they said they would not only give the error code ,but also what the exactly problem is. I'm going to collect the car today and see what they find.

That's exactly what I'd do mate. I work for a specialist. Let me know what they find and quotes. I'll see what I can do for ya
