Due to the cold weather recently each morning when the car is cold/frozen over there is a really nasty sounding metallic graunchy type noise that appears to be coming from the drivers side interlock on the top of the windscreen when driving. I've not had it apart as yet because I was hoping someone on here might have an inkling of what the issue is. If i momentarily open the hood ,then close it , it seems to stop.
