I believe that's what I've got. Get some spacers as it does make a difference

Nice Stance....what Eibacs are they?? are the fully settled in. May get some or may go for coilovers still in dilema..let us know the ride qaulity etc and what drop mm they are.
Torque the Torque
Were those just springs, not coilovers?
I'm still deliberating on whether to go for full coilovers or just springs. I do like that stance though.
Did you replace the S-line suspension? If so I'd love to know how much better they are as the S-line can be a bit hard sometimes
Hi Khanage,
sorry to hear about your wing mirror - guy seemed a bit of a loose cannon !
Here's a link to the springs: (Eibach 50mm/40mm Sportline Lowering Suspension Springs A4 B7 Saloon 1.9TDi, 2.0TDi, 2.0T FSi, 2.7TDi, 3.2 V6 FWD 01/05> - £155.00 : The premiere online mail order VAG suspension and performance specialists. We offer a wide range of all the best bran)
I have found handling to be allot better on these, even with a budget tyre on the back I have allot more confidence going in and coming out of corners at speed
The ride quality is also slightly improved over the s-Line Springs!
Anyone interested in purchasing some s-line springs, 3 ok and one rear snapped :-\ ?
Looks very good, definitely a vast improvement over the standard ride height...... Pretty cost effective too![]()
Total cost was £270 and it vastly imrpoves the drive ,even cheaper if you can fit the springs yourself, Hopefully by the end of the year wil have an RS4 RB fitted, timing belt changed and remap.
Thanks einonsy, if there were no repurcussions I'd have taken a tyre wrench to his head but then again if there were no repurcussions he'd probably have been carrying a gun lol
I'll look into the springs, especially at £155! I can fit myself so shouldn't cost anything more.
Because I'm at work I can't see the images you've attached and a quick look on my phone isn't enough I'll take a better look later. I'm not sure I want to go as low as you have, maybe only by 5-10mm less.
Its only about 10mm lower than the sline suspension. Ride is a little bit worse I think. Add the arb though and the handling is great.

Having had a better look at the pics on my computer, that's exactly the ride height I want. Not encouraged by you saying it's worse than the S-line ride though Razza :S
Can't remember to be honest, when I first drove it I thought it was better, but the wife swore it was worse.. .

Hmm, just ordered some 30mm for my Avant and B5 spring cups. Hope it doesnt ruin the ride

I have been looking at Eibach springs for my S-Line. I dont really get how you only get 20mm if you stick 40/50mm springs on? I have 18s on there at the min will the arch/wing meet the top of the tyre or will it just leave a little gap? Later on i do want to chance and go 19s is well. Only asking really because i dont want to lose the nice ride and i am fed up with coilovers now i think i have had them on nearly all my cars and im getting old
I think it's because the s-line already has lowered suspension comparted to the SE and the figures quoted for the springs would be compared to the standard springs.
