Thread: Service help/advice (slineautomotive Kent)

I have an 06 A4 cab with 50k on the clock.
The service light is on and is due a cam belt change- I have negotiated a belt and water pump change for £409 with mt local Audi dealership.
I am unsure of which service I need- they have quoted £299 for a major service - is this the one I need?
The car was serviced(March '11) when I bought it via the garage(non Audi) it was given a long life service, I have done around 8k miles since this.
I am pleased with the cam price but wondering if I should go to independent for the service?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Amd essex Tuning Parts for Audi A4 B7 2.0 FSI Turbo (2004 - 2008) from AmD Essex do a cam belt change and water pump for 312 and a full service for 234 just the other side of the Dartford bridge in lakeside by Ikea. I had the gear box ECU changed as well as the TMF and DV valve I would recommend them 100%.

Mine was the same, I had to wait but there were always a few cars coming in for remaps so I was entertained.

I nearly took my a3 to s line but couldn't find any reviews here or online, so I went to Amd and just spent 4 hours in lakeside. Good service all round there. If you do use s line post up how they are, cos their prices were good.

Had a full service, cambelt and water pump change and change of break fluid.
£532.89 no probs whatsoever.
Just took it back for an MOT today and he replaced a broken colant screw £35;80
Oh and it passed with no advisories.
