Ive got a 2007 A4 B7 with the 2.0 TDI PD 170 engine done 62500 miles

Was driving and the DPF light came on so i held it above 2200 rpm for 50 minutes or so to self regenerate then the engine management light and the glow plug light came on.

got it plugged in to VCDS and it came up with a fault code of 008194

Here the full vcds log

  • Malfunction Indication Lamp (MIL) active
[h=4]Possible Causes[/h]
  • Exhaust Pressure Sensor (G450) faulty
  • Diesel Particle Filter (DPF) faulty
[h=4]Possible Solutions[/h]
  • Check/Replace Exhaust Pressure Sensor (G450)
  • Diesel Particle Filter (DPF)
[h=4]Special Notes[/h]
  • Skoda Superb (3U) & VW Passat (3B) (Engine Codes: BGW, BSS, BWW) had issues with faulty Exhaust Pressure Sensors (G450), they were defective from factory and due to a leaking sealing the measured values were incorrect and resultet in wrong calculated particle filter load and unsuccessful regeneration cycles.
That's what Ross-Tec say about it if that helps

Cheers for that we did the Measuring blocks and the dpf was 91.7% full so we did a forced regen which took it down to 0,2 % soot level, so were hoping that was all it was and hopefully the g450 sensor is ok.

Cheers
