It's an RNS-E unit btw. Being taken out of an A3.
It will work but it won't fit into the dash of a B7 without a faceplate change. Hens teeth

Yes it will but you will need to code it properly with VCDS and that is an old unit.

Yep, faceplates are rare. You have to regularly keep an eye on ebay. I bought a faceplate before buying the unit.

Thanks Wrath, I saw your thread on your RNS-E. I'll be keeping an eye out on e-bay then. How much was the faceplate, if you don't mind me asking?
From memory the faceplate ended up costing £80. It was listed twice around the £120 and noone took it, seller ended up sticking it on with a starting bid of 99p. Remember you will be selling the A3 faceplate so you get back most of your cost.

Valid point..I'll keep my eyes open for a faceplate or A4 RNS-E at a price I want to pay lol
