Thread: Rolling road 2.0t Quattro DTM

I am after some advice please peeps. I have been making enquiries about a rolling road an someone said it depends on what haldex system I have. Are they just trying to get out of doing it? All help appreciated. Thanks

You don't have a haldex system

That's what I said its just Quattro as there are no haldex oil changes etc but he was persistent that there were and I'd have to find out hence this post

Think tt 's have haldex

And some a3's but not a4's. He has lost 4 rolling roads. Thanks

S3's have them too. If he doesn't have even that basic knowledge matey, it's best to stay away from that one

Try monster Motorsport in Loughborough, a few of my mates recommended them and Dazmo (a member on here) used them aswell.

They are the people talking about haldex lmao

Ok. Well I have found another place closer to home and they will do it 25quid cheaper and will do me and friends were as monster weren't interested cos it "wasn't time efficient" basically. I just want an idea what mine is running

R-Tech are in Leicester. Hinckley I believe. They have rave reviews on the golfgti forum. Will be using them myself when I have a bit of extra cash for a remap.

the a4 dtm has got that and the filter on the side will need changeing

Where are you based? We do remapping and have a special offer on at min. I have had mine done with decat and hpfp and wow it's awesome. They only have a 2 wheel rolling road :-(

Does it feck. It's full time torsen based 4wd. Like any other Audi with longitudinal engine. A/S 4,5,6,7,8, Q7, R8

The reason some people ask about the haldex system is they pull the fuse to disable it prior to the rolling road session essentially making it 2wd. You need to take your car to a place that has 4wd rollers. Usually the Dyno Dynamics rollers are 4wd (the two I have used have been) Good Luck

I believe Awesome GTi in Irlam has a 4wd dyno, has anybody experience of using them, want to get my 2.0T Quattro tested to see what power is being developed.

awesome done my pd130 b6 and now its really sweet..... just take a look at how good there building is m8 i will not need to say anymore trust me

When you say they did your b6 do you mean they confirmed the power it was producing and sorted any issues, or did you have it remapped?

Yeh, sorry Geology was never my strong point, oh sorry meant geography!

There is a place in Leicester well near Loughboro actually. 50 for Quattro. 40 for non. We do mapping at my work so could organise it all same day etc if needed. And remaps
Are nice and cheap for "mates" etc

Not looking for a remap at the moment, more to check that it is producing 220 BHP as I've come from a car with about 60 BHP so obviously this feels quick but is it actually as quick as it could be? Once power is confirmed I am thinking of Milltek cat back system and panel filter, then go from there.
