I have been reading about this oil pump problem. Can i just change my bottom end with a newer one. And would someone have an engine code of better engine. I dont think i have the problem but would just like to get it changed. Many thanks stuart

You need to be a bit more descriptive on the background of your problem and include the type of engine your car has.
If it's not longitudinal and it's not Quattro..it's not an Audi

If you are talking about the dreaded balance shaft fault that the 2.0tdi's suffer from, then you can get the amended parts from the dealer to change them, thus averting disaster.

yes it would be that engine..I bought a 05 20 tdi. Its running so well at the minute. i just dont want it costing a fortune because i dont have it. What the best way to avoid it.
