Hi just looking for some reasurence lol I have previously swapped my glove box over in my a4 b7 cab. This entailed disconnecting the wiring loom which connects the air bag switch for the passenger air bag. I did this with the keys out of the ignition and all went well. I had no fault lights on the dash.

Since then I have read that the warning light comes on if you disconnect the wiring for the airbags

I know this sounds silly as I have previously done this with no problems but I am now nervous to do this again. I have to disconnect the glove box again so that I can fix a cd changer into the car.

Just wandering if I've been lucky before or whether because the keys are out it doesnt check the system.

Just want some reasurence from you loverly people because I don't want to have to pay to have it reset

Thanks

disconnect the car battery before unplugging the airbag switch

just make sure keys aint in the igg
you wont get a fault changed 1 last night
