Upgradeing to OEM xenons, how easy????

hi firstly like to say hi being a newby and just come into audi ownership for the first time.

Im looking to up grade my standard halogen lights to xenon oem, is this a straight forward process or will i have to code the car??? not a problem as we have vag com at work as im a tech as trade
