Thread: HID Install

I'm thinking of installing HID's on my A4 and was wondering if its the same process as outlined here:

Also, where did you guys mount your ballasts? I will probably get them from HIDs-Direct.co.uk is there any other places that you guys recommend? Is there much difference (in terms of light output) between 35w and 55w kits?

Has anyone had any DIS errors from the HID Direct kits?

Edit: Did some research on the 35w and 55w systems and its probably better to go for 35w as someone mentioned that their headlamps melted and damaged the wiring. The light output probably isnt worth the extra money and definitely not worth the hassle
