Power steering fluid 3.0 TDI?

Anyone know what power steering fluid i should use in my B7 3.0 TDI?

Is there a specific brand, grade, colour recommended by audi? or can i just buy some of the cheap stuff?

Any help would be appreciated
 
As above, I got genuine for £7 last week. Has yours lost some?? Mine disappeared to the bottom of the header tank last week but there's no sign of a leak anywhere.

Yeah, my steering was making awful noises yesterday and I immediately thought low power steering fluid.

So I checked it today and it's almost ****** empty, but I have seen no leaks either.

Fortunately my car is being serviced at vagtech today so it will be topped up and I have asked them to check for any problems
 
Mine was exactly the same, I thought my pump had gone. How ****** weird is that, same engine, same problem. In 3 years it's never done it.
