    Help please ESP light came on and brake lights staying on when driving

    Hi guys

    driing home this evening, the ESP warning light came on and my brake lights staying on permanently when ignition is on. Switched car on and off but hasn't resolved the problem. Anybody know what the problem could be?

    I would check the Brake pedal switch to start with, to see if It's working correctly, they are known to fail. hth

    As Ekco says sounds very like the brake light switch I changed mine recently too.
