Hi guys,


Was driving my B7 A4 2.0 Tdi this morning when it conked out.

RAC guy said he thinks its the fuel pump in or around the tank.

My car is in the garage now but not looked at yet.

Where is the cheapest place to get a fuel pump for this motor.

I'm not sure they have a pick up pump in the tank. Most diesels only use one pump on the engine. If that's gone, you best sit down when they tell you the price.

Turned out the fuel pump was fine and water had gotten into one of the sensor/module/relay boxes and burned a few of the out.

After a good few pounds she is running again.
