redex isn't designed to increase power.
it a cleaning agent
i use it, and don't have any problems with it. or try millers fuel cleaner

I used one of those octane boosters once in my old A4. Didn't feel any difference, and when I did my service about a week later, the spark plugs were completely red stained!
