MFSW SCSM part number help

I am in the process of collecting parts to retrofit a B8 MFSW, cruise control and DIS to my 2005 A4.

i have so far got the MFSW and slip ring and have been offered a steering control module part number 8E0 953 549 Q. i have also seen part number 8E0 953 549 R for the same thing. what is the difference between the two?! will either accept all the retrofitting i want to do above?

All of those are Highline Steering ECUs for the A4 B6/B7
