Roof's stopped working!!

Hello everyone I’ve got a rather big problem, the roof went down ok but is now stuck and won’t go back up!

I've now managed to close it and secure it using the special key but it won’t work if you just press the button.

It goes up about 4 inches and then just stops as if the motor isn’t working!

If anyone could help me it would be much appreciated

do a manual reset as in the book
if no work scan for faults a sensor will have packed up

open n close it manually once and it ll be alright unless theres a fault as said

Cheers for the advice guys. I got it on the scanner and there were two codes but they were for the roof not being shut properly. Had abit of a deeper look and it seems to be the hydrolic pump

I was reading a post somewhere the other day about stripping the hydraulic pump, as the commutator can easily become dirty, I guess this is something to do with the brushes being too soft, maybe its worth a try.

I was reading a post somewhere the other day about stripping the hydraulic pump, as the commutator can easily become dirty, I guess this is something to do with the brushes being too soft, maybe its worth a try.
