    audi a4 2.0tdi 170 2006 - 2007

    audi a4 tdi 170 2006 - 2007

    Hi guys im buying an audi in a few weeks and i am planning on getting the a4 2.0 tid 170 between 06-07 i would like to know the pros and cons of the car if anyone out there has any advice it would be much appreciated

    Read the threads on the failed fuel injectors and mpg.
    It's thirsty in comparison to the 140bhp, expect no more than 500 miles from £85 of diesel.
    Can't really add much more, love mine.

    Ive got the a4 170, all round its a good car but as above its crap on fuel and at this moment im driving an hyundai cuz im on failed injector number 3... fingers crossed audi will do it for nothin again??

    It might also be worth reading the oil pump thread right at the top of the forum.

    I think the oil pump is just on the early 140's.

    If your considering the 170 tdi then I would also consider the 30 tdi.. Bit more fuel used but a better and more refined engine.
    2.0 TDI S line.

    Cruise, Leather, DIS, RNS-E, autodim, MFSW, ambient lights, Bi xenons.
