my car is going into Sanspeed on friday for a good going over inc cam belt and water pump, major service, lowering.
i am after the kit for the RS4 rear ARB, but cannot get hold of it locally, i have been sending Paul - Pjmspeedy a load of pm's but with no response - was also after the RS4 Grill

anyone got any ideas where i can get one by thursday night along with the associated parts needed for fitment - tho for the kit

ta

Main Dealer or trade parts specialist (tps)?

tried my local audi dealer - bexley audi.
first i had to get around the bafoon on the phone who insisted he could only sell to an rs4 owner, then said it would not fit my car, then said they did not have one in stock!
TPS - now i am going to sound really thick - whats that then ???
i searched via google and only things like the whiteline or h&r kit came up

I tried contacting Pjmspeedy for my armrest a while back, but he's been off line for a while. i hope he's ok.

The only way to get a dealer to order the parts is to walk in with a definitive list of part numbers and a credit card. The parts list is on an earlier post; I'll try and find it.

ok cool

Rocking horse poo poo at the moment springs to mind for RS4 ARB's, most have to be ordered in from Germany lol, think we've bought them all!

Result! It's comforting to know Bexley Audi can occasionally get something right. Hope all goes well with you at Sanspeed. I'm sure it will; they've always done a good job for me.

for anyone doing this, the below bushes are incorrect
Bushes - 8E0 511 327 A - £2.78 each
they are to small
i am getting the correct ones monday so will advise then

****** cant remember what ones i ordered now. That guy at Audi said something about bushes but cant remember if he cahnged the number i had written down. Then gave that to the guy a TPS. Will have to see when i collect Thursday and reorder if need be

the correct part no is

2 x 8E0 511 327 D

triple checked

you cursed me with bexley audi !!!! LOL
they have ordered some more for me and i am going back to sanspeed on the 06th to be fitted
they will also ensure the suspension geometry and trqacking is all ok following it being lowered.
spent just under a grand on friday in total, but was very impressed with everything they did

:beerchug:

ok got it fitted saturday
thoughts......
well, i basically think it make a difference, i was turning around a usual roundabout and i sort of ended up almost using to much steering as the was a lot less role, also went around another roundabout fairly briskly and again the rear was more planted, so a definite worthwhile mod for the cash
could now do with something for the front ???

ah ok
even with my new tyres - only done under 100 miles on them, the grip and roll were much better

Just had a call from cardiff audi,rs4 arb is waiting for collection, trouble is i'm off on summer hols sat,so wont be able to fit them until sept, also ordered b5 spring plates to drop the front a bit.Is the arb a easy job or do you need a ramp?,i was going to book it in to badger5 to get it done and get it remapped at the same time, lol,Cheers Andy.
