170TDI DPF removal and remap

I have been looking into remapping my A4 TDI Quattro 170bhp for a while and came accross this below what are your views on this although my DPF filter has no issues I am thinking of doing the below to gain the 230-240bhp?

Sounds fantastic, however I had a convo with a mate of mine (MOT tester) and he said that with the new MOT laws, a DPF delete system may fail the test, might be worth checking it out for yourself fella, i wonder if those gains are realistic, but i'm sure one of the more informed members on here will chip in.
