What part is missing?

Hi
Just opened the passenger door on my A4 B7 cab and on the edge(above the locking mechanism) theres a round hole (about 2 cm diam). I'm assuming some sort of reflector for when the door is opened. Any ideas please.

its not a reflector not on mine anyway
prob a cap covering a access hole

On mine I have a hole where you can lock the door manually if the central locking fails. When you look into it there is a yellow key turn barrel. I also have the cover missing. hope this helps.

Just been out to check mine and I have a round cover with a picture of a lock on it and a small horizontal hole big enough to fit the ignition key through.
