Front End of a B7

hi there guys,

just need some clarification of something on b7s. Do the following front end parts vary on the B7 A4 or are they the same for saloons, avants and cabriolets

front bumper
bonnet
headlights

just need to clarify for someone that they are the same for all b7 a4s

Saloon and Avant are the same. Cabriolet different.

Easy way to tell if ordering parts are 8E0 numbers are universal fit for A4 saloon/avant, 8E5 is Saloon only, 8E9 is Avant only. Anything with 8H0 is only for Cabriolet.

And just for the hell of it, 8E1 is LHD vehicle specific, and 8E2 is RHD vehicle specific.

Really? I read on one of the other forums and the guy said he fit a b7 saloon s line bumper to his cabriolet :S

The part number thing is largely correct but you can swap things like bumpers that have model specific numbers eg. I fitted an 8K steering wheel and an 8P RNS-e to my B7.
