Hey guys my headlight switch is suffering the same fate as lots of Audi interior trim, the black covering is flaking off so I'd like to replace the switch with the ali/chrome trimmed item. I haven't a clue what model it's from though! I'm sure I've seen one in a B7 before, if anyone could help out with a part no it'd be much appreciated

My car has front and rear fogs, non auto lights and the DRL switch is seperate if any of that helps!

they didnt do the chrome 1 for the b7
b8 has it but it wont fit

I think the one your thinking of is the MK5/6 Golf switch. It should fit and work, but only if you don't have auto lights and it will be a bit wonky as they sit slightly different.

I know the facelift A6 (before the current model) had a chrome switch that to me looked awfully similar but there is no guarantee that it will fit or the connections at the back are the same.

Thanks guys, it may well have been a mk6 item... I've heard it referred to as a "euro headlight switch"

Does anyone have a part number for the mk6 item? Don't know if ETKA has VW also :?
