Crunch when selecting 2nd & 3rd

I have a A4 DTM and it now crunches when selecting 2nd & 3rd has any one seen this before?

Had this problem with my SE when I got it a couple of months ago. Taken it back to Audi twice now and they say there is nothing wrong.
However, it is a lot better now and I found a hard drive seemed to smooth it out.
