Hello,

I want to convert my headlamps to Xenon lamps with the integrated round DRL lamps (as per the RS4). I am aware that factory models also head a headlamp was system, but at this point I was wondering if anyone could help me with the necessary part numbers and a list of items required.

Headlamps
Ballasts
- Different wiring loom?

Any other physical parts required before making the changes on VAG COM?

Many thanks!

headlights
ballasts
bulbs
loom
vcds

Pretty much the above is needed.
I have a pair of complete xenon headlights if your interested. Ballasts, bulbs and all included.
Drop me a PM

Thanks Yaz - although I'm looking for clear rather then tango ones :(

Are the headlights with the DRL's like the RS4 bi-xenon? If so they're also adaptive and stuff, right?

So there are two different types of Xenon headlamps to look out for?

Can anyone help?

Cheers,

A

I did the upgrade - your best bet is to wait for some to come up on eBay - they're very expensive from Audi. I'd let you know the part numbers, but they're hidden now the lights are in the car.

You'll need a PC laptop with VAG-COM installed, a suitable serial cable, the lights/ballasts/ignitors/etc. and a wiring harness. Kufatec do two versions - I went for the cheaper one that doesn't add auto-levelling.
