Hi,

I have had an airbag fault on my car for the last 6 months or so, and finally got round to scanning it for a fault. I do NOT need an ear bashing for driving around with the fault, i just need help to find out whats failed and how to repair it etc.

If you would still like to help, then i refer to the VCDS scan.

Thanks for any sensible replies given,

Actually, its ok. I've googled my search query and came up with numerous posts just like mine. Possibly the wires under the seat, but perhaps not. I'll get it looked at tomorrow.

Thanks for looking.

Fahim.

Wiring issue I'd say, check connectors in floor & in seat, common issue.

NHN, sorry but where is the connector in the floor? Underneath the carpet somewhere i take it? The seat one seems fine..but i'll double check in the morning.

Thanks for your reply.

No disrespect mate but its kinda obvious when you get your head under there with a torch, follow the wires, also can check in the rear panel as there are connectors inside the seat at back, but cant see them disconnecting easily, check underneath 1st.
