RNS-E ....is the casing different colours

Hi all.....just bought a 2006 FSI T A4 avant, and have been looking at getting the sat nav RNS-E, can see its pretty easy to install if you've got the double din....but looking at the ones for sale on Ebay they are all newer models....they all look the same but are they the same colour, as the newer Audi models look slightly greyer than mine, it looks almost black..

Also, can you add an cheap i-pod, 3.5"m jack to the RNS-E....
